On February 2nd was my wife’s B-day and I wanted to do something really special for her. She was turning 35 and was a bit bummed about it so I wanted to cheer her up with something unexpected and special. I thought about if for days leading up to her birthday. Then I finally got it. I wanted to book a private jet and whisk her away to a vacation destination like the Bahamas or something like it. I researched online for quite a while until I found a company called Sky Limo Air Charter. Their website looked pretty neat with cool pictures of the private aircrafts they had and it talked about all their services that were included with the private flight like for example their exclusive, world-class jet concierge service. I got intrigued and so I called and spoke to one of their representatives. A very friendly man explained that they would assign the best private jet for our needs, since we were only two people plus the pilot and hostess. He also said that I didn’t have to make a decision right away, I was free to wait up to two hours before the actual flight which was nice because I can think about it some more. He talked to me about the advantages of flying privately versus a commercial airline. He said we wouldn’t be hassled with the long lines at the airport or the many security check points, which I thought was a great benefit. I hate waiting in line. Last but not least he talked about their jet concierge service. The representative told me it included a bar in flight, gourmet and that if we wanted Sky Limo can take care of making the reservations to the hotel in the Bahamas, along with a car rental if we needed it or to get tickets for a show. The moment I hung up the phone, I knew I had a winning idea for my wife’s 35th birthday. Needless to say, she loved it, loved it, loved it. She was floored. I blindfolded her on the way to the airport so she wouldn’t know where we were going. And once in the private jet, that’s when I took off the blindfold. She was so surprised and so happy.
