Fixed Costs

These costs include storage, insurance, pilot salaries, management, and aircraft cleaning. Because we manage and own a number of aircraft we receive volume discounts in a number of these areas. In
addition, the greater utilization of the aircraft on an annual basis drives down the cost of each hour of operation i.e. annual fixed cost items divided by higher number of operating hours equals lower cost per hour for each fixed cost.

Example Insurance cost $30,000 per year Hours flown Cost per hour 100 per year $300 200 per year $150 400 per year $75 600 per year $50 All fixed costs work in the same manner so that greater utilization reduces cost per hour flown without compromising quality or safety.
